This is not a "High End" hotel, however, it was very clean and the staff were very courteous. For me, a clean, quiet place to sleep was all I was after and that is what I got for a fair price.

Let me start by stating that I am not a picky person when it comes to a hotel, as long as its clean and safe. I stayed at this hotel based on the reviews here and on another travel site , along with the good price. While the hotel is conveniently close to LGA and the staff is very nice and friendly, based on my experience this hotel is not a clean hotel and is a hike from Manhattan. On the first night, my pillowcase had what looked like red blood spatters on one side of it, so I slept without using a pillow that night, thinking they would replace the sheets the next day by the cleaning staff. Well guess what, I was wrong. I come back late the next day, and find the same pillowcase on my pillow. I called the front desk and requested a new one, but never did get one. The hotel is about a min 45 minute subway ride to Manhattan. This hotel is definitely NOT for families with small young children or infants. Its just not geared for family use. This would be a decent business hotel or for couples without children. But again I stress, not anywhere near Manhattan. Prepare to ride the subway for more than an hour during rush hour times. Unless you have a rental car, there is nothing to do within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel sits within a residential neighborhood, so there are only a couple places to eat, a chinese takeout place and Joey's Restaurant. Both are decent and close by. Pros: Great staff, close to LGA Cons: So-so area, not for families with young children, not close to Manhattan

This hotel has real value for a NYC hotel. They recently renovated all of their bathrooms with granite vanities, gorgeous lighting, new polished floor tiles and a decorative mirror. The room had a flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, duvet with 3 sheets and a desk. The wireless internet was really fast. They told me that they just had the system upgraded. Add to that the free shuttle to and from the airport. I loved the place and will definitely be back.

My wife and I loved this hotel. The rates were great for NYC! The rooms were very clean and had all of the amenities you would expect in a more expensive hotel - flat screen TV, microwavem duvet blankets. Even had free shuttle to LaGuardia Airport.

I stayed at the Airway Inn while on business in NYC. I discovered this place advertised on the hotel board in the luggage pickup area at LaGuardia Airport. They sent the van for me very quickly and the hotel was only a 5 minute ride away. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is small, around 60 rooms, but the rooms were just like the bigger, franchised hotels. My room had a duvet blanket with 3 sheets on the bed, flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator and even a spacious desk. You cant beat this for the price in NYC.
